I had this song playing in my head during this particular photo shoot, not just because I was taking pictures of an absolutely gorgeous baby boy, but also because I had definitely made other plans with this one. I think I’ve said it before, but Chicago weather is crazy unpredictable. Weather forecasts are usually completely off, so you can’t rely on them. We had beautiful weather here in Glenview the week leading up to this, so Shannon and I started tentatively picking out clothes that would be appropriate with warm weather. Well, wouldn’t you know it, the day of this photo shoot, cold weather moved in with a wind chill in the 30s. We had to scrap the previous plans and make do!
Thankfully, Shannon and Xavier were both amazing sports, trekking through muddy ground and bearing the brutal wind chill with smiles on their faces. A special thanks to daddy Jason as well for helping carry things and always making Xavier laugh! We convinced him to get in a few shots at the very end :)
