As a Melissa TX family photographer, I am always honored when someone close to my family asks me to capture their own family’s portraits. Andrea is one of my little girl’s teachers at school in Glenview, and Lily loves her so much! I feel very honored that she asked me to take her family’s pictures. A golden field combined with an overcast sky turned into a lovely day to take some portraits, despite the frigid temperatures.
Andrea loved the idea of a field session, which is always so beautiful in the fall. I love to look for areas with golden tones and lots of texture. Even areas that are less-than-picturesque light up beautifully as the sun begins to dip lower in the sky. Luckily, this particular field is right across from a train depot, so we took the opportunity to go across the road and grab a few photos. The kids were enthralled with watching the trains pass by and the old-timey phone booth!
