I love being a McKinney family photographer–in the two years we have been here, I have had so much fun exploring the area and meeting new families to work with. That being said, I was absolutely thrilled when Nick and Michelle got in touch and asked me to come down to Houston to do their family portraits.
I knew Nick and Michelle from our undergraduate years at Baylor University when we were music majors. It’s been over 10 years since we had seen each other, and I had so much fun traveling to take their portraits and meet their sweet kids. As luck would have it, the temperatures dropped by about 30 degrees over the weekend, but they were such troopers and did an amazing job powering through the frigid temperatures.
A huge thank you once again to Nick and Michelle for having me down! …And if anyone else is interested in having me travel, I always take any excuse I can :-)
